My new Ulitharid boi ;w;
(Rovis-er-ill)

Good Neutral. Has a prized pet alpaca named Larb, and a pygmy brainstealer i havent named yet. they might get their own references.
he also smells of nutmeg <3

Random notes I made on him:

-He has split off from his colony seeing no future with them or faith for his elder brain parent
-he wants to branch off and see more, absorb more, become more than he is. however he has no desire to currently
end himself, gain his own Illithid following, just to become an elder brain himself, and become that which he has tried to avoid.
-the person he took over when first performing ceremorphosis as a larva had a very interesting mindset
regarding the world they lived in. because of this particular brain his human host had, he has assimilated with it in turn very strongly. who he was before, and even now didnt have a desire in some afterlife or faith to begin with.
-he understood and believed in the sciences, though didnt invest time to learn how to produce arcane arts for himself. though
uses magical weapons as he can understand effects on them.
-this human host had a lot of psionic energy. good natural senses.
-in his human life he was an aid, a rancher that built up their earnings through adventuring. now he returns to the house he called home through memories he doesnt feel he had. His human memories don't feel like he's the one experiencing them, more so he was around for the host to experience them. He continues on in the home, and town he protected. Continuing to do so by also risking his life more to hunt bandits and such to keep his town and home safe.
-He doesnt hide his being in his home town. It took some time but the folk began to recognize Rov, and respected him as if he were his human self due to his personhood and who he was not actually changing much
-being a protector and watchman he was very good at giving suggestions that were of sound mind, soul, and understanding in a way that people would consider and think harder upon themself.
this led to his illithid counterpart being able to learn -suggestion-

Edit: Side thoughts. When eating brains of bandits/enemies he prefers to control the host, and make them consume food as he eats their brains. He says it allows him to experience the sensations the brain does from the food. Hence providing him to taste a common food palate that is usually repulsive to an illithids diet.
