Description
I meant to submit this a week ago...but as i mentioned in my journal i haven't really been feeling well. And i wanted to proof read it first to make sure it makes sense, but i am still a bit out of it... so feel free to comment or note me if something just doesn't make sense. I would really appreciate it. I mean, tutorials are supposed to help people, not confuse themAnyway, i had a lot of fun creating different designs, hopefully this will be helpful to some of you

At times like this I wish I had a table... Is hell to do something like that with a mouse...
Anyway, any chance you might submit some of those snowflakes as brushes?

Aww, yeah, I could never do anything with a mouse. But there are some really good tablets that aren't too expensive. I actually don't offer brushes - I'm not that good at making them anyway - but I'm sure someone here at dA has made some for people to use

I made my previous snowflakes by using a vector programm, before loading them into GIMP.

Would you mind if I got that main one as a tattoo? I've been looking for another snowflake to get tattooed on my other shoulder (I've already got one). I wish I'd know about your tutorial. I tried to deign my first snowflake, it doesn't look like anything special, unlike the ones here T-T

if I remember right, under photoshop cs2 all you do is turn off the layers you don't want to manipulate, select the one you do, hit cmd/ctnl+t and right click(opt click for mac) and select flip.

Never thought of doing it that way, always used a brush, brilliant, thank you!

That's really helpful. Not just the making the snowflake part, but also how to make it into a brush. People always mention that to me, but I never really did know what they meant!

Oh! Fun and helpful! No more getting frustrated trying to draw the ENTIRE flake by hand and have it be symetrical! Thank you for this! I never even THOUGHT about doing it this way...
