Back in 2012-13, Equestria Girls started. The Barbie-like dolls were the first toys to show up in stores.Version 2 had these 2 packaged with their Human counterparts. (there was a normal Brushie version for Rarity-I didn't buy it)
I bought Celestia & Twilight just for these 2-gave the Humans away to my cousin's kids...
But as you can see here, with the showing of S9's Epilogue, Princess Twilight pretty much looks like this!
So around 7 years ago, Equestria Girls' prediction came true!
