I wanted to draw Mona Lisa again. That's all this was. This is from the fanfic I'll never do.Don and Mona are being hunted. They're separated from Mike and Leo and believe Raph is dead. Don lost his bo, all he has to fight with is one of Raph's sai. Mona's newly mutated and is still pretty weak. If they're found, they're pretty much dead.
And I came up with this whole plot just so I could play around with a darker side of Don's personality.

Alas, I am currently working on a 5 book long fanfic for Transformers that takes up whatever free time I have for fanfic writing. Maybe if I ever finish it (I am on book 5 right now) I could get to this. You never know.

Are you kidding? I think the dark colours that you have for the background really add to the effect of what is happening and the emotions that the two turtles are feeling.

I just love the mood, the poses, the expressions, how Don is all worried and wary and how Mona curls to his tigh kind of lost and how he rests his hand on her hand - moe of reassurance and protection.
It's really expressive and beautiful piece!
(And it's interesting to see Mone-Don interaction too. o.o)

Thank you! I really like this piece myself. I wish I would have done more with this. But I really like the Don/Mona interactions that go on inside my head, I hope to find the time to share more with the fandom. These two are awesome together.
