My friends, I have been a fool...

You may recall my recent journal on my new tech limits in my Eden RP. To be honest, one of the causes of me posting that is a somewhat recent rage I had with a friend of my friend Will who goes by the name of Myric. Myric has a very unique universe, far different from Eden. His technology has Eden's tech beat 3 to 1, and Eden is Type 3 on the Kardashev Scale. (The Union of Worlds is probably at Type 4.5 while the Nakai are at Type 5 or possibly higher.) When Will told me about Myric's RP faction's power, I felt threatened just by it's existence. When I spoke with Myric the first couple times, I had a very sharp sense of hostility.

I know now that I was wrong, especially when I saw at a glance how similar Eden and the Union really are. Hell, when I saw a clear , colored picture of Myric himself, I was shocked. Maximus and Myric are virtually IDENTICAL, and most likely stand up for the same values. And it was that same Maximus who, despite these key similarities, threatened war on Myric if they crossed each other's paths. (a fight that would be impossible to win might I add) Myric negotiated with me in hopes of making another friend, and I turned him away selfishly.

So in my shattering realization that I was an ass for assuming too much, I quickly drew this up in MS Paint. It's not perfect, but I had to get the following point across as soon as possible. Myric, I'm sorry. I fell under the assumption that power always corrupts, but failed to realize that this wasn't that case. I hope that sometime soon, when it is best for both our time zones, we can properly chat not just to discuss a possible alliance, but so we can get to know each other in peace.
