So let's talk about a long-forgotten TV block from Cartoon Network called Master Control. In this TV block you had three factions fighting for domination over what would be broadcasting on the network every day Master Control was on, and the victor would be decided based on the number of votes each said faction got on cartoonnetwork.com. You had the Vikanators, the Blastadons, and the most popular (and spoilers: Winner of the whole event) Shadowmark.

Nowadays I look back to this and realize how my overreaction to this was way too much and stupid. In my youth, I was anti-darkness 24/7, a holiest of holys child. This was before my understanding that Light and Darkness cannot exist one without the other. At first, I didn't think much of the event, but I hope people can understand that, at the very least, the constant boasting of their victory between shows could get annoying. This was before Eden, when my imaginary universe was basically the universe we live in with my own creations and many crossovers. I became so pissed with Shadowmark, that I pretended to go to war with them. When I wasn't doing my best to support the Blastadons, I was invading "the Shadowmark homeland" in a massive Ace Combat style military campaign. Even though Shadowmark won the event in the end, I denied it and "liberated" their continent.

Now of course, I've actually become more akin to darkness nowadays and know better than to go on crusades against something that is remotely dark. So to fans of Shadowmark, even though most of you haven't met me ever, I apologize for being a sore loser. If I ever decide to bring back Shadowmark in any of my crossover worlds in the future, I'll be sure to handle them with much more respect. My hatred of them is officially dead, and I know posting this almost a decade after it happened must be pretty pointless. However I thought I'd post this pic of my own version of the Shadowmark mascot to show just how far I've come in tolerance and acceptance of darkness. You won fair and square Shadowmark, so enjoy it while you still exist in other's memories.
