PKMN boxes in the games are each designed to hold 20 Pokémon. In the first games there were 12 PKMN boxes, to be able to hold a total of 240 (not including the six that can be in your party). But since these older games can not interact with the newer games (and aging battery problems tend to make them unplayable) I will not include these games in my final totals.
The GBA Pokémon games have 14 PKMN boxes (280 Pokémon), and then there are the two Gamecube games (Colosseum has 3 boxes; Gale of Darkness has 12 boxes), and even further, a Pokémon Box utility had been released for the Gamecube which can hold a total of 1,500 Pokémon. So if we add all these up:
Ruby 280
Sapphire 280
FireRed 280
LeafGreen 280
Emerald 280
Colosseum 60
Gale of Darkness 240
Pokémon Box 1,500
Total for these games: 3,200 Pokémon

Now for the DS games! Each of the DS Pokémon games have 18 PKMN boxes (360 Pokémon) and the Pokémon Ranch on WiiWare can hold up to 1,000 Pokémon.
Pearl 360
Diamond 360
Platinum 360
HeartGold 360
SoulSilver 360
Ranch 1,000
Total: 2,800

Now add the previous total to get a grand total of 6,000 Pokémon.
So in conclusion: Yes, I can handle quite a lot of Pokémon. XD

well... you are never gonna have problems with a lack of beautiful things to photograph, probem is by the time you get around to it they will all be getting a bit old because of how long it takes to photograph them all X3
