Btw, I would like to ask for some adoptable advice. I work 2+ hours on an adoptable set on this account of mine
For some reason my own cute species or the famous MLP adopts don't sell well. But neither do I want to be paid lower then 100.
Idk what I'm doing wrong but adoptables just don't work for me to get some extra points as payment.

As for advice-
I'm not very good at advice, but I think one of the most important things about adopts is having a nice color palette, or design that has room for small changes ouo
I usually try to use colors that are easy on the eyes but still colorful (I.E. not super neon colors, but not super dull boring colors)
I, personally, think having original art is better than using bases (unless of course you're not very good at drawing and/or are able to make bases look really nice)
underselling is a really big problem in the art/adoptable community (especially on deviantart with their crappy point system) but also try not to make the prices ridiculous xD (like some people will put maybe 5 minutes into a design and try to sell it for like $50 omg)
hhhh I don't really have any other advice, except for submit them to at least like 10+ groups lol (I usually only submit to groups that have 1,000+ members)

Well I just randomly make a design and give it random colors cause before you know I like it to much and then I have my habit keeping the adopt while I want to sell it.
Well I want to make my own lines but sometimes I need a quick adoptable set done and then it takes some 2+ hours to sketch and line art the basic lines of that specie of my own.
I submit it in 40+ groups but it still doesn't work out.
And my max price is 500 for the adopt and the price lowers in order of the designs I like of the adopt itself.

I have bases myself also but just to do the whole layout and all that just cost me some time to make.
So... *sighs* I just want to have quick points with adoptables but nothing seems to work. Nor do I have all day the time to only make adoptable sets. I don't want any leftovers so for now until everything is sold I won't make new ones. I don't want to overwork.
