Contest entry for #Fighting-Games-Elite 's Color That Fighter Contest. I chose Samurai Showdown's Nakoruru.

Coloring and shading are by far my weakest points, so with this being already somewhat shaded, it was just a matter of playing with layer effects, after adjusting contrast, highlights, etc.

I felt keeping it simple was the best course of action, as opposed to my heavy-handed application of color in all of my other 2D drawings so far.

I am very happy at how this turned out.
