Description
This took several days for me to color this very meaningful lineart drawn by Those who have been watching me know that I suffer from Fibromyalgia, and while I'm usually very good at dealing with it, this winter just kicked me left, right, and uppercutted. This has begun to affect how long I can sit to do artwork of any sort.

I named this piece from Metallica's "One", yet another thing appropriate here (oddly enough, my absolute favorite Metallica song years before being diagnosed. Here's a verse from the song itself:

Darkness imprisoning me
All that I see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body my holding cell

The hair is purple as it is the main color used for Fibromyalgia awareness. It's also a bit harder to see the watercolor style shading as I flat colored everything first (trying to figure out a way to economize the time I take to watercolor shade pics)

And now that I've done with this, my lower back has decided that I had enough sitting up time
