I like to think that The Spine was slowly nodding off (not that robots sleep, but shush) until his head fell right into his lap. After a brief moment of embarrassment, his eyes darting around to make sure nobody saw that, he decides to curl up and have a proper nap. Full of dreams about being human.

The Spine has always tried his hardest to be seen as normal, to be like a human. So while The Jon would be the one to own and love Pinocchio, I bet The Spine borrows it all the time whenever no one is looking.

Can I just say how adorable this is? I mean really, it shouldn't be because he's headless... But I have the strongest urge to go wrap him in a blanket and tuck his head in...

In other words, I do have such an urge to nestle his head against mine so I could set the book aside to lie his body down and settle down to sleep right there. Only if I imagine. My current biggest crush now is The Spine to me, and I even uploaded a recent artwork of him to my gallery.
