This is a major reworking of my first Terragen 2 render. The render took a little over 240 hours. I tried a lot of new stuff with this one and im pretty happy with how it turned out.

it's great because it's so subtle. The light is fantastic.
Only thing I don't get: 240 hours?? Is your computer that slow or did you use some extreme over the top settings?

Yeah its pretty slow. I think the main reason is I had ray traced shadows enabled.

his is great man, its one of those piece that i wish i could get my hands on and play around with, haha
colors are what really does it for me, they just look awesome. and the simplicity holds it together nicely. it doesnt look unfinished or under-done, it just looks simple, which is hard to do, so nice work. as far as crit tho, i would really like to see some stars. it looks like you might have added some, but when you compressed it or saved it or something you lost a lot of quality, so you have a lot of artifacts going on. other than that, great work man
