DOWNLOAD THIS SUCKA, DA'S COMPRESSION IS BROOOTALSome homies picked me up the other day to go for a cruise, managed to snap this pic on my iPhone. It was a Kodak moment.
So this took about two weeks and the end result is completley different from I had in mind when I started. I think this looks much better than the original idea. I used really saturated colors, a lot more so than normal, but I dig it.

Used for gas giant. I altered the color and increased the size.
Brushes used here and there threw out the piece

my problem with space art in general is most people DONT use saturated colors, but you did really well with this!

Oh that's awesome. I'm a devoted fan of the NASA astronomy pic of the day, and this could fit in very well with their archive! (I did catch that this is a digital render :] ) I love how the colours of the galaxy are mirrored in the biggest planet's swirls and stripes, and you put traces of greenish blue in either side of the sky. These two things balance the piece REALLY well. I would write an actual critique, but alas, I don't have premium membership, so this serves as my 2 (more like 20) cents on your art
