ArkasGetting back to modeling again. This is Arkas, same style as you might remember from some previous Bionicle models. I am thinking about completing the series with two more.

The model itself is fantastic, What renderer do you use? I think maybe it should be more shiny? There is something we can approve, it's not your modelling, that's quite skillful and I imagine this took some time to make, but the render/lighting perhaps could do some work. Speak to some of the guys in the chat for more info on it.

I didn't spend to much time on the render actually. I really like to model and build stuff but setting a model up for rendering is just boring.
It doesn't really matter that much anyway, I'm making one more model in this series and then I will render them all together in one single picture that will look awesome (I hope)

Sweet! Maybe if you're just interested in the modelling part you could put up a wireframe version along side your model as well as a clay render, so people can really focus on the modelling side of it and then give you better critique

Oh I see what you mean. Yes, I could do that for demonstrating my models, however this is just a personal project.

i really like the weapon design for this one, both the shield and the staff.

Thanks, I looked at some other black Bionicles to see what tools they used, then I drew a simple concept based up those styles and modeled it. I'm quite happy with how the shield turned out as well.
