Those are lovely! He's half shape-shifter, half dragon (dear lord, the parents xD), so he sorta has a natural dragon form. Could it be of him and some kinda patronus-looking red dragon above/beside him? (ye harry potter references)
He's also got a ring obsession, and most dragons in that world frown upon wealth, so he's a weirdo among them. Would you like some ring references also? Depends on how detailed you'd like to do the hands.

He's about the size of a large dog, refuses to grow any bigger so he won't hurt his human(ish) friends unless he's in some boss battle.
Sorta large jaw, lots of scales, spikes along his back, cat eyes that are the same blue as he is as a human, bat-like darker red wings, sheathed claws, lighter red underbelly, muscular legs?

Four leg dragon or two leg wyvern? Face like with a beak or muzzle? Hands on wings or just a claw? Wide belly or thin like a cheetah? hair or no? How many toes/fingers per foot and do you want any hooved... Because I did one with hooved back feet once. Dew claws?
I'm sort of assuming a catdragon, but can never be too certain with dragons! XD if it is... Whiskers?

Four legs. Muzzle. The wings can just be wings. Thin-ish belly, but with some dragon pudge (hehe xD). No hair. Four fingers per foot. No hooves. Naw, I just like the cat-like look to my dragon's eyes~
