WinXP Style is called Chosen OS.
Those boxes are an active desktop, with dragable iFrames, half transparent.
One box is a search function (Google, Google Images, Astalavista cracks, GoT, CDDB.com)
Next one is a simple HTML file with the links I use most, some message boards, DA, Onzin.com (work) and some links to my harddrives
Lower left is the program Coolmon ( [link] I thought, otherwise use Google on Coolmon)
Coolmon displayes processor usage, computer name (TYPE) in the network, IP (photoshopped that out), Drives and drivespace, processes currently going, stuff like that.
All my links to programs are in the quick launch, that way they're easy to reach, even when I'm working on something (don't have to minimize everything to start a new program)
And it keeps my desktop nice and clean, the way I like it.
My Taskbar was getting awfully full, so I decided to create toolbars with the shortcuts. Have a clean startbar once again...
