Based upon the leaked sprite here [link] It has essentially been leaked that menu sprites will make a come back, which is great! I really like the menu sprites, since they're so tiny The Fletchling in the image linked might look something like this when the games come out. Zigzagoon and Pidgey are also in that image, suggesting they might also be in the X/Y dex. I had a hard time seeing the details, so this will definitely have details wrong in it. It's just my interpretation of the sprite and it animation.
