[for the love of all things holy, FULL VIEW this please] - i stared at this thing for way too long >_<this pic took me quite a while, and i kept repainting various areas in photoshop. either way, i'm pleased with the end result. i'm not a big Warhammer 40k guy, but i've always had a fondness for this race of bio-weapons.
Tyranids rule, and that's all i have to say about that.

yup, bio engineered, self thinking guns actually. Every weapon, apart from their own talons, are creatures on its own, bio-engineered for one sole purpose, whitch the Hive mind (the spiritual leader of the Tyranids) sees them fit.

i did this one over the summer and had ALOT of time on my hands. most of the time i'm just trying to get an image out in a resonable amount of time.

jeez, i'm not quite sure. probably at least 8 hours. i usually work in periods of one to three hours over several days. and i did this one a few months back
i can say it definitely look alot longer than most of my digital pictures simply because of its size, which was reduced for DA
