Description
Believe it or not, this is a Pokemon. As far as I can tell no one's really done a realistic version of the most infamous Pokemon from Gen 1, MissingNo. For those unfamiliar with the glitch 'mon you can encounter it of the coast of Cinnabar island.
It was a pretty fun challenge turning the mess of glitch that makes up the most well known version of MissingNo into a coherent realistic form. Also, whilst hunting down references and to see if anyone had done a realistic version before, I found someone had done a sexy anthro version of it.......

I kinda have a little lore for this guy:
Arceus' shadow MissingNo; the devil to his god. Described as chaos incarnate, scriptures say that in ancient times, MissingNo battled and was defeated by Arceus and all the other legendary Pokemon and sealed away in a lost city. All Pokemon fear it and even those who are in constant struggle with one another (I.E. Groudon and Kyogre, Dialga and Palkia, etc.) will put aside their feud and captured Pokemon will disobey their trainers in order to ensure it never escapes.

I like it. Β This appearance makes sense as Missingno essentially pulls data from random places trying to find data for something that's not actually there in the first place, thus an amalgamation of body parts, pieces of objects, and randomness. Β This is horrifying, confusing, and fascinating all at the same time.
Yeah, also that sexy anthro version(I believe I know what you are talking about) is horrible as it is ugly.

I'm glad you like it.
I'll certainly be getting a Missingno in the re-release of the original games later this month.

I really appreciate the genius touch ot how it twists the time-space as demonstrated by the distortion of the stars behind it. Before reading the description I thought it is some sort of ancient lovecraftian horror and thought that I've rarely seen someone actually draw the warped reality around it. Cool job

When I was drawing this I kept thinking that it really belongs in a Lovecraft story. The ocean setting and monolithic appearance of Missingno also add to that.

Thanks
It would be cool if they added a Missingno Easter egg in a future game.
