OK so i decided to do one of these influence mapsProblem is it's impossible to fit everything on it (i already cheated by resizing it) - and you always forget something!
So here are a few things...
The top 3 artists were probably most instrumental in influencing me at a younger age - Bill Watterson, Uderzo and Bruce timm
The next 3 are the more current influences - Art Baltazar, Scott C and Mike Kunkel
The next group is a bunch of other artists from DA who inspire me either with their drawing, colouring or their general awesomeness (believe me this is NOT everyon as i was pushed for space - there are soooo many more)
I also threw on some things that are always great when i need inspiration: Chris Sanders, one of my all time favourite artists; Scott Pilgrim - so so great; Pixar - i doubt I need to explain that one
Most importantly - all those that follow, comment, like my art - of course that is the most important motivator.

I love seeing these influence maps. Then I feel motivated to do another one. I think I've done, like, 10 of them so far. Apparently, I need a different one for every week of the year, as I keep discovering more artists and remembering old TV shows and movies that have inspired me. So don't be surprised if you show up in my next influence map, you influencer, you!
