Either feeding off the lightning produced from the ash clouds or even bathing within the lava itself. It is believed the kaiju uses the molten rock to reinforce his scales including the gold found lace around his entire body. A particular noteworthy thing is Tonnerre’s behavior becomes more cautious around the entranceway of the volcanos, almost as if awaiting an ambush. Some believe it may be in a reaction to Cerberus, however Tonnerre has had several encounters with the triple-headed canid and never dislike this change in behavior.”
