Also: Bingo!. I've been playing a lot of DoDonPachi (And DDP Dai-Ou-Jou) recently, and the picture reminded me of all the bullets . Hence the name.

I should probably design something danmaku-related someday, too. Actually, I'm surprised nobody has: some of those bullet patterns are just plain amazing.

Of course, if you're not used to them, those pastel-pink projectiles are harbingers of explosions and death!

I've made a few danmaku games, but nothing on the scale of DDP or DOJ .
Watching people play DDP for the first time is always funny, the look of "WTF was THAT??" on their faces is always priceless

I am slowly, slooooowly getting my best friend to enjoy shmups. A steady diet of Raiden III is, apparently, doing the trick. She enjoys playing DDP to kill stress, too.

And YES, that look is priceless! So many bullets! :3

They haven't decided about Mushihimesama Futari yet, but I'll bet you anything that they are probably more seriously considering making it region-free.

Region locks not much of an issue if they do PS2

I just hope their region free is PS3 as well as 360 (Because I really don't want a 360).

Well, they mostly have been releasing games on the 360, as you may have known already.

I actually got my 360 for some RPGs and Ace Combat 6, but I became ecstatic to see all the shmups being released... and then unhappy because they were region-locked.

New 360s should suffer hardware failures, BTW. Mine hasn't had issues. Ever. Actually, my laptop has more issues than my 360, lol.

I'm now going to get a PS3 for Valkyria Chronicles and some other games out there. Hrrrm.
