if you download!A plugin for Apophysis that modifies the "splits" variation to also have 3D variables. (Splits3D_z).
Picture is a bubble with preblur, then a splits3D FXForm that splits it along all 3 axis.
Download to get a zip file containing the plugin and the source code.
Thanks to for the original splits plugin!
Edit: According to , having this in the same folder as the plugin "SPS.dll" causes errors - so be advised not to use them together

Say, since I've been downloading some of your plugins how about telling me what transforms they work best with--triangle 2 or 3? Also what plugins do they not work well with?

Doesn't ring a bell sorry (I've been out of the fractal scene for a while truth be told).
Use the transformation editor - get combinations that combine, but *don't overlap* - that's what will start showing how things work together well

In the editor window when you start adding triangles and adding values and variations to them. How long has it been for you doggie?

you know I don' t know where to find that fave emoticon, so I never use it. But this note is to let you know I've downloaded two of your plugin pkgs. Splits 3D, Spherical 3d plugin. Thank you so much for making these tools available. Now to try to find a virus free download of Apophysis 3D hack...seems that sourceforge is blocked by internet...there have been complaints of trojans hitchiking a ride with downloads...sigh.

Anyay, get =Xyrus02 's version of Apophysis (7x). It's the latest version, with all the features of the 3D hack and then some.

been so long since I noted you, I forgot what I asked, probably how to find/use that fave star...I have had xyrus02's version of apo7x for quite a while - LOVE IT! - especially since Apo2.09 is a royal pain in the butt - always getting those memory access errors, probably due to graphics for variation selections...so I just don't use it anymore...also with problem with SF - actually the way I learned about possible virus contamination was my Norton 360 flashed a window warning about SF site when I was on it getting ready to download another copy of Apo2.09. I don't know if SF addressed the problem, hopefully they have as they are a source for a number of downloads. About aposhack, thought I had joined, but will check, if not, I will...anyway...thank you for responding to my note.

Not sure why you're getting the access errors.
As for Norton, that would explain it. Honestly, Norton actually does more harm to your computer than it protects - it frequently detects critical files as viruses, it doesn't detect actual viruses, it detects a lot of false positives (Like the SF one, I'm willing to bet it was Norton and not SF), and it's also a right pain in the arse to remove from your comp...
Norton once detected some of my system32 files as viruses, and deleted them immediately. Lost the use of my computer after that. (I'm not the only one it's happened too).
..I now use Linux anyway, so yeah

I started with a new blank folder and put the two together and they worked, go figure, so I added more plugins one at a time, looks like SPS.dll actually caused the error, there may be others but that's the one I know for sure causes a problem

I got it to work with AvCrackle, I quit adding plugins after SPS.
I'll go through the rest later and see if there's any others.

I found it causes an error when in the same folder with AvCrackle, thought you should know so not to use them together and to post that info.
