Ahahahaha, ohmanpoorNatesuperrejected.
So Nate very rarely hits on people he hangs out with on a daily basis because he knows getting sexual makes most people all awkward. So for the purposes of this prompt, he's just hitting on Riley for fun and some light making out, not for the usual end goal.
Eden is paranoid about what she calls "this annoying slew of hormonal human emotions" getting the better of her intellect, so even if she was into Nate on a biological level, she wouldn't acknowledge it. Also, she's got a certain goal in mind and she thinks getting emotional would only get in the way.
