Just finished this piece up! Pencils, inks, and paints by me. Flash Gordon is the subject. It was surprisingly difficult to find any reference for this character, especially in color! I'm pretty happy with the final result! Hope you all love it!Pencil (traditional)

SO awesome! Flash is one of my favorite pulp heroes and you've done right by him. Love the color and poses. Thank you for making Dale an equally compelling character and not the arm candy that she's so often relegated to being. Really wonderful!

Dale looks a bit older about the face than I figured she would be, but overall, I like this shot.

Flash Gordon! An artist after my own tastes! Beautiful colors, wonderful detailing. Dale's face is especially wonderfully rendered. Spectacular all around.

This is a wonderful piece of art you did here. The poses are nicely action-oriented and not static. And also I love the way that you colored them. I know that I'm being a little nit-picky here, but this is what it looked like to me when I first saw this. On Flash's right hand, it does look like he has 5 fingers and a thunb...also, I love the color of her top and how shiny you made it look. However, when I saw this in the thumbnail on my devwatch and then looking at the smaller version of this before going to full-size to view, the background behind her top seemed to blend him. There didn't appear to be any contrast between the top and the background...but then again, that's just me...

love the ray guns and the poses are so actiony they are dead set on killin some alien tuckus. i am a bit concerned about the sword, it kinda looks like a really long banana. other than that perfect as always
