He had softly and suddenly vanished away
For the Snark was a Boojum, you see...
A combination of pencil and pen. Used my OC Terry Jones at age 14 for scale, yeah this beast is that fucking huge. I can't really take credit for the actual anatomy of this beast, this is more or less my own rendition of Shemhazai the Whisperer; [link] , an Esper from Final Fantasy XII (and a really kick ass Esper at that).
But in any case, this is more or less my idea for a "Boojum", not like a Super Plus S Class Maverick in the Tyrranux Universe, but an actual creature called a Boojum. I mean really, such things can look like whatever you want or whatever you make of 'em, this is just one kind of Boojum, I can come up with at least a dosen more and all of them would look holy shit scary big like this one, like the kind of creatures you'd see as final boss of a Final Fantasy game.
That's how I would perceive a Boojum to be, what about you^-^?

American McGee's Alice is supposed to be a horror-style game so everything in it is meant to be frightening, Alice herself starts the game in a mental institute and Wonderland has been corrupted by her insanity.
