I've recently goten the Season One Volumn One DVD set, after going through that I decided to look up the 2011 series on Youtube (FYI that fourth episode is fucked up, damn good episode though, this show has serious claws). So yeah, I'm a Thundercats fan. Snarf Snarf.Drew the panels on Print Shop then ran them through this online generator [link]

It was a bit disturbing yes, mostly I found it rather cruel that their lot in life was as such. Then again that's what made this episode so effective, sort of in the same vein as "Code of Hero". And only four episodes in? I'm more than impressed.

Yeah, it is cruel to see that in the episode, BUT this episode is a mess for the plot.

Truth that the "plants" have small life span, but I don't buy the whole thing.
Example: When Lion-O found the Emrick but he was a teenager [I think] I was fine with that. But then he started talk he done training when he was a kid?!?!?!?!? WHEN HE DONE THAT?!?!?!?!? While he was falling down from the sky!?!?!?!? Training need time!!!!
I have other examples, but you get the idea if you think about it somehow...

I have high hopes it will get better, the episodes after that were certainly a blast. I checked the wiki page and the episode guide lists an episode in the works called "Berbils", I am all too excited to see it (especially with what they did with Grune and Slithe).

Yep, I really liked the flashback story of Panthro, but again I didn't liked when Lion-O act like a "boss" when he was talking to Panthro. What an assh*le!!!!

One thing the new series is doing right is that it gives us perspective on the multiple races it has. I would not be surpised if a lot of people have sympathy for the Petalars.
