The Storm Is Coming
Peter was finally getting back up on his feet. That whole miserable ordeal involving Gwen Stacy's death almost broke him, but ever since meeting that strange quirky fan girl of his Froppy he has started to heal, she pulled him back from the edge before he fell over. And from there he has been able to reconcile with the Titans, even getting Froppy into the team. Things were finally making sense again......

But then, he ran into Gwen Stacy again. Alive........no, this was not Gwen, not his Gwen. His Gwen was just a regular human, not a wall crawling Spider Woman!

The Other Peter Parker
She came from an alternate universe, from an alternate earth that was not doing well. She came from a life where she was the unlucky one to get bit by that radioactive spider, where she made the mistake of allowing her gift to be shared with others. First there was her best friend Peter, the only person she trusted thus the first infusion of her DNA, and therefore the most flawed. And then, some of their trust fund supported classmates at Horizon High managed to get a hold of Peter's infusion tech, perfecting it and becoming better infusions, better Webheads than either he or Gwen. They even found a way to have organic web shooters instead of the bulky contraptions Peter devised. She didn't seem to care, she was just focused on being the hero her father would be proud of. But Peter, being the flawed one that everyone was smarter than, that everyone dismissed as the weak link, it was eating at him from the inside out. His continued supporting of Gwen could only hide his pain from her so much...

And then some nut in a costume named the Jackal decided to turn the entire city of New York into infusions, everyone had the powers of Spider Woman. In fact he modified it into an otherwise harmless "virus" that mutated most of the eastern sea board into webheads. All of them better webheads than either Gwen or Peter. And as the Jackal became a beloved celebrity, both Gwen and Peter became nobodies. Gwen still didn't care, she was just focused on being the hero her father would be proud of. But Peter....he finally had enough. He dug up one of the spoils in his and Gwen's vault, a forbidden belt like weapon they confiscated from a previous caper involving Amanda Waller's machinations. The Masked Rider System Series-1 Roboticised Xenomorpher Driver, codenamed "Black RX". It was a truly dangerous device, especially in the hands of an emotionally compromised science nerd who knew exactly how to modify the device to his liking.

He became Spiderman Build. In the third of America that was now teaming with webheads, he was the apex predator, every web slinging crook he fought would then lose their spider infusion powers! And with each victory, the people that dismissed him soon outright turned on him, seeing him as a menace to their web slinging society. Peter became more and more emotionally compromised, refusing to even power down or take off the Spiderman Build suit for anything causing it to develop a rising "Hazard Level". All the while the people's hatred of him triggered an unforeseen side effect of the once harmless Spiderperson virus, causing anyone with sheer rage to turn into literal spider mutants driven by instinct. Jackal conveniently had a "cure" that only provided a temporary fix to the problem, only through violent retribution by Spiderman Build could these freaks be cured, losing the very spider powers that they had come to value more than their own lives. And caught in the middle was Gwen, trying to keep the peace and trying to snap her best friend out of his mental collapse. But it became perfectly clear just how too late it was....for everyone....

The Rise of Evolt
Because at last, she had returned to the earth. The living blood entity known as Matoi Ryuko, the entity calling herself Blood Stalk. In this reality, she ate her foes, the result of a nihilism induced epiphany where she realized that the most dire and immediate of the universe's problems could be easily solved by getting rid of all metahumans. The heroes of earth quickly realized how much of a threat she was and took her into space hoping to spare the earth from her growing madness. Those that took her into space were among the first to be devoured, and from their she wondered the known universe looking for the most dire threats she could find. Thanos, Darkseid, Galactus, the Phoenix Force, so many threats to the very stability of life itself.....and she ate them all.

At first her hunger was exceeding her will threatening to turn her into a mindless beast. But with her living blood body taking all their life force, all their powers, all their memories and knowledge, eventually she evolved beyond her own hunger for flesh. She even learned how to manifest her own obedient familiars, living blood constructs just like herself instilled with the very souls and (now limited) abilities of those she has eaten. She was no longer just a murderous devourer of worlds, now she was an intergalactic empress of an empire birthed from her own bottomless stomach. Adopting the Kryptonian word for Evolution as he name, she was now setting her sights on her mother planet, Earth.

And when she returned, she found a good chunk of the human populous gladly throwing away their previous humanity in favor of being metahumans, lazy metahumans, addicts of their own spider like mutations and abilities to live lives free of consequences, responsibility and even fear. The only way she could possibly save these people from themselves was by reminding them of what it means to be human, to make them remember fear...

The Rabbit Fullbottle
Ironic that a device spawned from jealous rage would prove to be the only hope to stop Evolt. More specifically one of its core components, the red Xenomorphic Transformation Trigger Device.

One of the many misadventures of Spider Woman involved a run in with a traveling extraterrestrial rabbit known only by the name Roger. He was pretty much an entity ripped straight out of a cartoon, an impossible anomaly that should not exist. And through the madcap caper that followed, Peter somehow got a hold of this Roger's blood without either the rabbit or Gwen's knowledge. All this time it was just for study, experiments out of pure curiosity. But then, as Peter was devising the new Build Driver, he took a chance on using Roger's blood as the catalyst for the new powers.

Everything Spiderman Build is and can do is thanks to the DNA of a living toon. A side effect of this being one of the few creatures that Evolt cannot devour. Immune to her abilities he was the only one who could directly challenge her in raw direct combat, but in his emotionally compromised state it would take quite a lot to get him to actually try to save the world. Somehow Gwen finally reached him, finally getting her best friend back....just before he then went and sacrificed himself on a desperate tactic. Sealing Evolt within a Fullbottle. The process required him to go into a complete Hazard Trigger at the cost of his life. It did indeed work, even killing off Evolt's empire and armies as easily as cutting off an internet signal. But Gwen lost her best friend again, this time for good.

The New Spiderman Build
The Build Driver is only tied to Peter Parker's DNA, only he can use it. Not like that will stop people from trying to get their hands on it. After the impressive feat of single handedly defeating a cosmic horror level threat, the Build Driver became the most desired thing on the planet. So much so that their are even clones of Peter Parker popping up specifically to access the Driver. Desperate to keep Peter's legacy out of the wrong hands, Gwen digs up another confiscated invention in her and Peter's vault.....

Dr. Jonathon Ohnn's Time Dilation Accelerator. This device had too many applications to count, most of them involving the theoretical possibility of parallel universes, it was her only chance to get the Driver as far away as possible. Just getting rid of or destroying it left too many risks. The possibility of releasing Evolt outright, someone being able to repair it and undo the DNA lock, even just chucking it into a portal to be lost in infinity meant that someone could find it. No, she need to entrust it to Peter Parker.

And now here she is in another universe, before a version of Peter that had suffered the death of Gwen Stacy, begging him to Be The One to take this greater burden onto his shoulders. Warning him to never, EVER, allow the Fullbottles containing Evolt to be inserted into the Driver. You ever get the feeling that life just isn't nice or fair?

[RABBIT!!] This Red Fullbottle allows Spidey to have increased running speed and jumping capability.
[NINJA!!] This Purple Fullbottle allows Spidey to manifest shadowy duplicates of himself that are but holographic after images.
[SHARK!!] This Cadet Gray Fullbottle allows Spidey to go underwater without the need for oxygen, also gives him a heightened sense of smell.
[HORNET!!] This Brownish Gold Fullbottle gives Spidey access to static electricity (similar to Miles Morales' Venom Shock).
[MANTIS!!] This Neon Green Fullbottle gives Spidey external weaponry- A fold out scythe kick grieve and an arm mounted one side chainsaw.
[DRAGON!!] This Violet Fullbottle magnifies Spidey's strength and defense to Krypotian levels. Is especially taxing if used for more than six minutes.
[COBRA!!] This Black Fullbottle contains half of Evolt's very existence, specifically her mind and soul. Could theoretically allow Spidey to become a living blood being just like Matoi Ryuko. But as Gwen had warned this and its sister abiotic bottle are dangerous even individually, possibly allowing Evolt to possess Spidey in some manner. It's a deadly risk to even keep this bottle anywhere near the Build Driver.

[ABIOTIC B-SIDE FULLBOTTLES]
[TANK!!] This Blue Fullbottle gives Spidey external weaponry- A speeding tread arm guard, the speeding tread kick boot and the high impact tank gun built into his very knuckles.
[COMIC!!] This Yellow Fullbottle allows Spidey to just manifest floating platforms and Aegis Reflector like walls appearing as single comic book panels taken out of context.
[SONIC!!] This Neon Pink Fullbottle magnifies Spidey's spider sense to near psychic level precognition allowing him to predict the future up to one minute. Is especially taxing if used for more than six minutes. It can only be used with the Dragon Fullbottle for two minutes, after which it triggers the Driver's automated emergency shutdown leading to a 24 hour cooldown.
[DIAMOND!!] This Light Baby Blue Fullbottle allows Spidey to cause light refractions ranging from blinding lights to even turning himself invisible.
[CLOUD!!] This Dark Silver Fullbottle gives Spidey access to cloud web-swinging. Yes, that quirk where Spidey seems to be attaching his webs to seemingly nothing? This makes that for real.
[PLASMA!!] This Orange Fullbottle gives Spidey external weaponry- A missile launcher like pauldron that fires homing heat lasers and a high power energy burst cannon fitted to the leg, fired by doing a knee kick.
[BLACK HOLE!!] This White Fullbottle contains half of Evolt's very existence, specifically her body. Could theoretically allow Spidey to absorb energy and use it as he so pleases. This could in turn mutate his body possibly making him another Blood Stalk like she was. And if both bottles are used, it could either turn Spidey into a new Evolt or just outright release the original. Both bottles must be kept separate from each other and the Driver, it is hoped that without the Driver neither bottle can be accessed.
