Description
I like TF Animated Ratchet, he was such a classic "rusty veteran" character that did justice to his architype. Plenty of people say he's a lot like G1 Kup, I think his persona would fit just as well for Ironhide. I liked TFA Ratchet so much I'd like to have him in my own TF series, but since I already have a Ratchet in mind I decided I'd have TFA Ratchet under a different name. He may be under a different hood and occupation but it's still the grouchy ol' bucket of bolts with a rugged war-torn edge (which if I have read correctly is exactly what G1 Ironhide was in the first place^-^).

Similar to my rendition of Ratchet, this Ironhide's arms form the front end of the pick up truck alt. mode, his feet form the back end with the flat bed sections folded inward in robot mode.
