The original Bandersnatch Virus was a living weaponized retro-virus class bio-matter developed from a genetic sample of the Human Dragon's genetic structure (it's unknown how they obtained such a sample. From that sample they created the B-Virus, a substance that could either turn any living thing into a B.O.W. or be used as a catalyse for creating powerful super soldiers unlike anything the world has known. In the hands of the mad scientist Washu Hakubi , the B-Virus becomes what turned out to be a bio-matter absorbing technorganic mechanoid who's only desire is to achieve a " perfect form".

The creature dubbed Cell is pretty much the B-Virus further altered with the stolen genetic samples and combat data of the world's metahumans, not limited to Earth's natives but also to the recent visitors who came looking for trouble. So far. Cell is almost every (known) being on Earth combined into one...yet he lacks the genetic material and combat data of one particular individual. It turns out that Terry Jones has the genetic material this creater needs to really become a mortal god, a manifestation of the perfect being, and at this point it's gonna take more than just a small sample to achieve this perfect form. It just so happens that Cell has a needle-like tail that can open up and swallow entire man-sized beings through a cup-like suction mouth, and when he does come across Terry Jones that tail is gonna be put to use...

I felt the best way to interprate Cell outside of Akira Toriyama's signature design and characterizations would be to make him more mechanical in appearance (he's suppose to be an android). A fine cross between technological and organic matter.

Now here I have his three forms, the first form is actually more organic in appearance (or at least I intended him to be), as he starts absorbing the very technological components he needs to become perfect his form takes on a more machine like apperance.

The one thing I hated about Cell's design would most certainly have to be those gaudy spots randomly covering his primary green sections, sure they do just fine for an Akira Toriyama design but interprated in any other artist's interpratation and there's just no getting around it, they just look aweful. I kept the spots to a minimum, drawing them as triangular panels to suport the mechanical look I was aiming for. If you think I should add more then let me know, right now I just don't want them to overwhelm my design of the character.
