Well, here we are, my Tyrranux Universe renditions of the Gotei 13 [link] I decided to group them all in one deviation as not all of them would have very deep roles in the canon I had in mind, still it is a fun little line art project that I'm still not finished with yet. These are just the ones I've done so far (including my latest renditions of Ichigo [link] and Rukia [link] )...

As Father of the First Ring, he is the very imperturbable and unmovable pivot holding up all that is the Gotei 13. His authority enforced by his incredible raw power blessed upon him by Ifrit himself. Of all the upholders of justice in this insane universe, he is perhaps the most drastic avicator, if he finds you guilty of greatest evil you can be sure he won't rest until he has burned every last bit of your dark being into ash. His views on the current fiasco with this being known as the Human Dragon is quite straight forward, this beast is the reason the world is in such turmoil right now, if all others fail he will remove every trace of him personaly leaving nothing for the black hooded cloaked figures to claim for themselves.

Mother Soi Fon

THEME SONG; Spineshank; ”Smothered”
Mother of the Second Ring, a somewhat strict militant who is fiercely loyal to the Gotei 13 and much like Father Byakuya will uphold the law to it's fullest extent. She was once the Saint under Yoruichi Shiouin before her, it is often rumored among the others that the two shared an intimate relationship but such is based mostly on Soifon's apparent fondness for the now "Fallen Angel". She was rather upset to find her former mentor and friend is now siding with the Human Dragon, forcing her to fight against her. But then it turns out that Yoruichi has had second thoughts about helping the Human Dragon, now going as far as asking Soifon to help her take him out. In the midst of all this fighting against Terry's allies, Soifon has found a formidable rival in the human known as Jack Chaos.
Holy shit did she turn out all kinds of awesome, I'm serious she is my favorite Gotei 13 rendition thus far. It must be the pose...yeah definetely the pose, goes all too well with the costume I gave her. Maybe I should color this one if I ever get the time^-^.

Father Gin Ichimaru

THEME SONG; Disturbed "Perfect Insanity"
Father of the Third Ring, not that he really deserves it, he holds little value in both his position and the men under his command. It seems the only thing he cares about is (strangely enough) Rangiku whom he saved from starvation. He is quite infamous for his very presence alone, grinning like some sort of Cheshire Cat putting on quite an act of intimidation. It's almost as if underneath that smile lies a truly murderous persona that will rear its face at the drop of a hat. He is particularly interested in meeting this Human Dragon, from what he's heard then it would be interesting to meet a monster more dangerous than himself.

Mother Retsu Unohana

THEME SONG; Switchfoot; "Meant to Live"
Mother of the Fourth Ring, ask any of the others who know her to describe her in two words or less and chances are the answer will always be "genuine elegance". But while she comes off as soft and gentle, she quietly lets it be known she is not to be taken lightly. In fact Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Eleventh Ring and even some of her fellow Fathers fear her, in fact there are many who are not of the Gotei 13 who are already starting to be wary around this woman......with the exception of Terry's inner circle, not to mention the black hooded cloaked figures who even go as far as to taunt her trying to force her to put up or shut up. She is still able to hold her compossure, but even she has her limits and she might just finally have to put her foot down, hard, if pushed too far...the question is, whether or not said foot will be torn clean off from its socket, these people are not exactly mere punks trying to get on her nerves for the fun of it...

Father Byakuya Kuchiki

Byakuya strongly believes in law and order. As the head of one of the great noble families and as Father of the Sixth Ring in the Gotei 13, he always works hard for a peaceful balance. He feels that if someone in his position doesn't follow the rules as a good example, then no one will follow them. He believes that to maintain the order, all law-breakers must be punished, even if that goes against his own wishes. It is this outlook in life that has him seaking Rukia Kuchiki's execution, not even questioning why it had come to this as it is the law of the Soul Society that demands her death. His inner sorrow for his sister's sad fate muffled and locked-up by his dedication to law and order, he is forbidden to show remorse or objection. But then the situation had changed, even though Byakuya's position in the matter has not. The only thing that has changed are the priorities for upholding the law of the Soul Society, and as such he finds that to uphold the law he must hunt down this Terry Jones. Since he is the kind of man who will not be denied in his endeavors for law and order, there is practically nothing to stop him from finding the Human Dragon and bringing him to justice.
Hey look, Byakuya Kuchiki. Anyway as you have noticed the Fathers/Mothers (Captains) have a very elaberate halo as opposed to the Saints and Patron Saints, obviously a clear visual cue of rank. You can't see it too well but the idea is that the center of this halo bares the very symbol of the Ring (Devision), or perhaps I should just omit that bit.

Saint Renji Abarai
VOICE OVER; Wally Wingert
THEME SONG; Korn; ”Twisted Transistor”
It was really hard for him, having to track Rukia down on orders to arrest her for treason. It was even more difficult to see someone else come to her rescue when he could not, a guy by the name of Ichigo Kurosaki. On top of all that, now some dick in a black-hooded robe claiming to be from "ALICE" has come and taken Rukia, using her as a bargaining chip to try and get everyone to do his dirty work. Renji never wanted this to happen to Rukia, in fact he had vowed to always be there for her when she needed him the most. Well, guess now he might be able to help her escape the execution, so long as he's the one who delivers the Human Dragon to this mysterious stranger first before anyone else.
I actually drew Renji before Soifon, here I was trying to establish what the backside of the uniform looks like. It draws a lot of design elements from the Grace/Glory enemy from Bayonetta. As long as there is clothing on an Angel's back that spine will appear, even on the outer coats of the Fathers/Mothers. Also of note is the double halos here, the second halo is only exclusive to the Saints (lieutenants), they do bare the same standard halos as the Patron Saints but have that extra (even simpler designed) halo to show their particular rank.

THEME SONG; Creedence Clearwater Revival "Fortunate Son"
Father of the Eighth Ring. A laid back kind of guy, sometimes maybe too laid back for his own good, he is usually seen sucking down some of the sauce, napping and chasing after women (particularly his lieutenant Nanao Ise). Hell he just comes off as someone who really has no interest in these current affairs involving the Human Dragon and thos black hooded cloaked folk. This however couldn't be farther from the truth, he may be more of a lover than a fighter but he's not fixing to sit this battle royal out, it's his duty afterall to uphold justice whenever possible. But while these folk can see he's not as laid back as he seems, they still don't take him seriously, this Striedge guy in particular just finds him pathetic for some reason.
Yeah I know I goofed and put Shunsui before Sajin. But fuck it I am already investing too much of my patience with my as of late fucking up internet to fix one little goof up.
