Argh... this project was SUPPOSED to be an actual sculpt of the vehicle I designed a little while back. Problem is- I suck at REAL modelling- y'know with real materials etc. I made it out of wire, sculpy (a sort of clay like material) and I attempted cardboard but they each looked like they had been thrown together by a mental patient... in a strait jacket.So with my Studio Max currently not working I decided to revisit good old sketchup.

Hahaha, I'm on to you mate! I was working my way through Mass Effect 2 when I suddenly stumbled upon a mercenary gunship... Don't tell me you weren't inspired by it, when you did this design, hahaha!! Just admit it my man!

lol I was waiting for someone to say that! But hand on heart- I drew this before I even got my hands on Mass Effect 2 (due to my pre-ordered copy being messed up I only got round to playing it 2 weeks after launch... 'cos I had to have the limited edition one). But yeah, when I got to that bit I just thought 'oh, crap'.
If anything I was a little inspired by the Copperhead in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (but then I merged it with a sorta sharky shape).

lol I knew what you meant, mate- I was just being stupid. Yeah- this is straight out of sketchup- I did the 2D concept then somehow managed to pump this out. Glad you like it!

Sketchup is a bit fiddly/clunky sometimes- especially with curvy objects- need to concentrate more on Studio Max and Z brush!

yeah i never got the hang of sketchup. hell...i don't even like ketchup! haha...no comparison i know...just thought id throw that in there!
