This drawing was done dedicated to The legendary swordsmen himself Kenshin Himura, also known by his enemies by many names such as Hittokiri battousai, The Manslayer, but if you've seen the anime, you probably already knew that. There was this contest for entry of the best Rurouni Kenshin fanart contest, so I figured why not try to enter. This took about 4 hours and 38 minutes to complete,I just basically from watching some Samurai X shows drew this out of memory and began paiting and editing in photshop froom there. The theme was pretty much based on the title, becasue I've just realized from watching the show that when Kenshin's enemies fight him to draw out his Battousai secret powers, Kenshin's eyes are sort of yellow, and this happens of course in the moonlight, so I went with a moonlit night sky background and add some trees to the setting for ambience, I wanted some petals and add the sword, but I couldn't find space for it. Oddly enough, there was this fact that I think the pic is not in the right size for the contest entry, so I might not win, oh well, I just felt like drawing him, the best of the best swordsmen, the legendary samurai himself!
