This is really interesting. So, it's like a special arrow that eliminates colour? I love the feathery shapes of the dispersing hues... I like to draw ornaments in black and white and flowing colour as well, but just today I wondered how they are like from different worlds...

Thank you very much! It began as an exercise on trying to doing something that isn't etirely on black and white, then it became about how there's some stagnation caused by my lack of ability to do color, in a sense taking the life out of my work. Glad you enjoyed it tho, given how skilled you are.

I think the way the colour moves from the way of the direct line is spot-on - or so I see it. I tend to sense movement in colours, so it's hard for me to do realistic coloring and I end up using the whole palette. That's why I always say to people "I can't colour", because I can't control it. My coloured work is never really popular, but it's more fun to do... It would be interesting to see you do something else in colour too. Btw love your gallery, your work is awesomely creative.

Oddly enough, I never intended to use the whole color palette at the start. And thank you for the compliment, your work has some sort of atmosphere that I've never been really capable of building myself; hopefully I'll be able to integrate color into the mess of lines I tend to make.

Yeah, well I rarely intend it either. Sometimes it's good to ditch the lines too and go straight for colour, since it seems to have a mind of its own - like in this picture. I go for b/w with my more intricate sketches, just to make sure I don't mess it up.

That feeling when you ruin a drawing due to a bad coloring is a very particular kind of sadness.

I know right. I'd say there are few things that make me more depressed.

I'd say using an eraser and creating a mess instead is way up there.

Ahaha, I know right... the worst is when it's in the center of an otherwise finished piece, like on the face of a character... "Yeah I'll just fix the eyes... or not."

"Fine, it didn't look that good anyway..."
