I'm glad that you like it, sir.
Well, it is because I've just had some experience in drawing water when I drew ships.

Thank you very much, lady. ^^
This character is energetic, curious and cheerful. So I think, that I portrayed her not too bad.
Don't worry about such things, lady. I have no right to blame you of imperfect English skill. My own English is not so good too. I suspect, that English-speaking people sometimes laugh at my poor vocabulary and mutilated grammar.

Thank you, lady.
You remembered about Ukiyo-e because of the shape of that wave on the left, that looks like 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa' by Hokusai, I suppose.

Thank you. I'm glad you like how the sea looks here. It means all my efforts to draw previous maritime pictures weren't useless.

Another magnificent piece of work.
The shading is superb and the proportions are balanced too.

Thank you.
It's good that there are no sufficient defects. Maybe I begin to understand how to draw such pictures properly...

Reminded me of that famous woodblock-printed Tsunami image. [link] What I wouldn't give to see an old-style Japanese folktale book for Touhou done like this! Aya looks superb against that background - lovely shading and colour use.

You're right. I saw that Hokusai's woodblock print. And wave with similar shape appeared during drawing process regardless of my own will. But I liked the result, so I didn't changed it.
It is difficult task for only one man to create book you talked about. Maybe group of artists can fulfil it...
I'm glad you like the final result. Because after every finished work I think that color use was imperfect.

Glad to hear it. Because she looked not too beautiful when work was in progress.

Hence why art takes perseverance, most works in progress do not look anywhere near as beautiful as the finished product.
