After 39 h of coloring 247 layers ..done with Photoshop +Sai
my back - my eyes- my whole body hurt
i feel that i will pass out! hehehe this is one of the hardest work i'v ever done.. so i really hope that every body enjoys *.*

wooooow excellent job rax great shading I like how its bright colors yet a somber mood if i can critique a little his jacket is too soft and doesn't fit with his hard lines bright colors in his face. other than that flawless you really feel the emotion

thanx for the helpful comment .. i agree with you about the jacket turning out too soft .. it actually had hard lines but once i added the texture it despaired and i was so tired XD

You can do it! Minimize time :3! I used to take forever in coloring too, but your product looks ten times better than the works I take forever on XD!

ironically .. i like ur style of coloring much better .. and its my dream to be able to color like u ^_^ .. (crazy artists )i feel that all my work is solid u know ..something is always missing.

Oh thank you! I just recently broke through cause I didn't notice that the brush on sai is your best friend when it comes to soft shading... My brush settings are 10, 30, 60 and the density is 80%. It works like a charm (for me).

Actually my friend wants me to teach them about digital painting/drawing but sadly, she has a mac and doesn't have SAI (literally, it's my home) and uses photoshop. Do you have any tips for me >_👍: 0 ⏩: 1
photoshop is great with some things and not so great for others..
it is an awsome tool when u are drawing something that has lots of lights and textures
.. i really love how photoshop is more flexible with layers.and has more tools
unfortunately sometimes when u work on a big picture it gets very slow.
and you cant just hit Ctrl+Z when u make several mistakes .
im not an expert on SAI but i use it for line art only and maybe to add details.
i dont know how to color with it ..and the brush settings always changes while i try to color and i lose the effect .. but i know that blending is awesome in SAI and it keeps the quality clear unlike photoshop it creates many pixels

Ah I see so it's basically a program that is just a vamped version of SAI that isn't as reliable? I love the fact that you can create brushes like one two three. Sai is a bit more complicated. Stuff related to like onenote or something @_@
But you know it's really easy to use once you get the hang of it. Keep trying XD you should see my old old old works on SAI they burn my eyes O_O
