pretty, not sure about the brown old flowers at the bottom that are in focus...kind of a waste of the area thats in focus. I would have set the focus back a bit so that the brown bit was blurred.

If you were in my shoes you'll know how hard is it to focus on a tiny droplet of water without using a good macro lens. So I'm pretty satisfied with the result. Also, I don't see what's wrong with the brown flowers being on focus *they're part of the concept*.

I don't often see shots like this that capture the detail of the water droplets like this and allow the foreground to become the background. This is a great piece! But I'm sure you already knew that

That one raindrop is absolutely spectacular. Of course, the best comments have already been provided: wonderful colour and composition. I wouldn't say it demands analysis, though it does seem to capture the wretched essence of a beautiful life.
