Summer 1944,

Since the defeat at Midway and Guadalcanal in 1942, the Japanese Empire was slowly driven out of the islands in the Pacific, leaving behind a mountain of deaths, lost ships and downed planes.

Now the most important cards were being played in the Mariana archipelago, their last and most important line of defense.

the high command of the Imperial army and navy knew that even if they lost these islands, the Americans would be able to attack the sacred Japanese soil with their planes, and that they would be able to begin invasions of their homeland.

To try to slow down the American landing plans, the army created a new infantry division, made up of anime girls forced into recruitment, to be placed on a small island in the archipelago to attack the opposing fleet, without having to send regular soldiers there.

With this tactic, they hoped that the enemy would be forced to commit men, vehicles and ships to that small objective that could cause problems, and with the time they would gain, they would reinforce the islands of Saipan, Guam, Tinian, Peleliu and Angaur.

But they didn't know that the Americans were ready to counter their move...
