 I converted him from Gmod to SFM. He was on the gmod workshop but not the SFM one.

There's some guides out there, the idea is that you take the workshop file and put it in this one program and it pops out an SFM usermod style folder you can put in your SFM usermod folder.

It's been a long while since I've done it but im sure you can find the guides hope this helps.
