There's been some drama in my life involving my depression coming back full-force and some other things over the past few days (a lot about Femclasses, which is silly but it happens). In these past few days, I've received numerous messages expressing nothing but love and support, and I can't thank you guys enough. To those of you who've stuck around, to those of who who have shown some care for my well-being as well as the artist and not just the art, and to those of you who've been there for a while watching me make all this crap - thank you.
I'm glad you enjoy the crap I make, especially my Femclass stuff. Even if they might not be the popular models for whatever reason be it technical reasons, personal reasons, or aesthetics reasons, I enjoy working with these models. But it's not just my Femclass crap, it's all my SFM crap. Because of you guys, I make sure that I make only the best kind of crap - not actual crap, but art that I'm willing to spend time and effort on, making sure it looks good despite the limitations, despite all the unpopular opinions; art I can be happy with that you guys can be happy with, where I have all the creative freedom I want and such wonderful people liking my creations.
Thank you. Please continue to be wonderful people, and thank you for being there for me, even if it's liking what I make, what I do, or who I am.

That's what ChemicalAlia's Femheavy looks like; the face has been Photoshopped to add wrinkles and expression. Roxy, the modeler who modeled Makani's Femsniper, is working on modeling Makani's Femheavy, which will look something like this. (I think Roxy's choosing to forego the skirt however.)

Thank you so much for making this! This is the first time that I've seen any female versions of the team that haven't been over sexualized! Your female versions are actually believable. It's not fair that a lot of the female versions on the internet are super sexualized while the male versions are not.

I'm glad you like it! To respond, a lot of these models aren't mine - they were made by other people of the community in their own time, because they wanted to. Popular Female Class models that are used in SFM/GMod fanart that I've used here are the Female Scout, Female Pyro, and Female Sniper. Criticism has fallen those three the most because of the Female Scout's skirt, the Female Pyro's skintight suit and overexaggerated anatomical proportions, and the Female Sniper's midriff (which has an option via a separate model to make the midriff non-exposed, which I used). For me, especially for a game like TF2 - practicality arguments go out the window with Medic wearing a longcoat, Spy always wearing a lovely suit that gets dirty, futuristic turrets, teleporters and healing guns, as well as magician roommates.
And these aren't women running around in bikinis, panties or underboob shirts, so for me it's like "I'm okay with this" and I decided to put them as well as some other existing models out there to some good use that isn't just the same ol' pinup. I'm very glad the modelers have put thought into these models and went along with making these happen, and it's always a pleasure to use them in my SFM artwork.

Oh, well good job to all the creators of these! When people do gender-bent characters I like it when they make it something that would actually fit that characters personality. The character themselves doesn't change with the gender/sex, or at least not much, so why should their taste in clothing change? I don't think the heavy would willingly wear a bikini into combat as a man, so people shouldn't make them wear it as a woman. I don't think the Pyro looks bad ether. Having big boobs isn't necessarily sexualization, and the male pyro also wears a skintight suit.
sexually revealing clothing is ok as long as the character would take part in the same sexually revealing clothing as ether sex.
I wish I could give my appreciation for all the creators who contributed to this! There should be more of it in the world

Have you ever downloaded mods for TF2? All these stem from TF2 player mods which you can install. Some of them come with a few refitted hats and what have you, others come with voice packs!

I don't tell you often but I enjoy "your crap", as you say, especially your Femclass stuff. You're one of the few dudes who, unless being focalized with Femscout, like and use CA's models, overcome all the technical problems for finally making great pieces like this one. What's more, even if I'll never like this Fempyro model because I think she is not in the TF2 spirit, you achieve to make an actual Pyro out of her. Chapeau !
And of course, there is your awesome or funny projects like The Investigation of Miss Mann Co and Pretty Princess Heavy Weapons Guy - besides, it makes a long time we didn't hear about these.
You can be proud of yourself and what you did all these years because you deserve all this appreciation and recognition. Something would be missing in the SFM community without you, so don't let some pretentious asshole tell you what you must make or not !

Oh man, I haven't forgotten about those projects but I'm glad people are still eagerly anticipating those.
I play Soul Calibur a lot, which is a game very focused heavily on the sexualization and exploitation of females. It's a shame that that's how it is, and I cannot nor will not contest that argument because it is a fact. One can argue that the males of the game also get the same treatment, however the argument of how this is normal for men to be portrayed as "strong" with buff muscles and big figures can be raised as another counter-argument to Soul Calibur's flaws, as well as how not enough of the female characters have different body types, faces, or diversity either. Hilde von Krone is probably the most well-designed character in terms of avoiding the oversexualization treatment most of the Soul Calibur ladies get, and she's also super tough and pretty cool. But like, so are a lot of the other female characters too, even if they're wearing arguably not enough. In a universe where practicality has been established to be overrated or a weak argument, there is no room to focus on clothes or figure on a pretty face - there is only room to focus on making sure your ass doesn't get kicked by a pretty face.
That is my reasoning behind TF2 being able to have female mercenaries as well, even if it is not and may never be canon. But that latter fact will never stop me from doing what I want to do with them, as well as making some cool things.
