Welcome to a new level of freak.

I have this giant SFM series idea that involves me spending all the time I have figuring out how to animate something that's essentially going to be a Dead Fantasy-esque GMoD Freaks series with a few references to the game series that this is obviously referring. The characters used in this poster are not all of the characters I want to use; they do have primary focus so far in these story I've got brewing in my head, but there's a lot more characters I'd love to feature.
If you want your freak to be included, drop me a message, or better yet, a skin/hexed model! (+10 points for HWM hexes.) I can't guarantee the character will be a primary or focal character based on how much I've got laid out already, but I'll do my best to incorporate them into a decent cameo/contributing to the plot other than just two seconds of screentime, and I'll do my best to try to do justice to their characters.

I am incredibly honored to see Medizard as apparently the main focus of the totally awesome picture. I am serously hoping that awesome ice effect i c there isn't restricted to SFM because if it is usable on Gmod I am going to do unspeakable things to it.
The picture was extremelly well done, with the quality SFM provides it looks specially profesional. The posing favors most characters in there, I specially like Demopan's pose as well as Erzengel. You sure took your time doing this huh? Well done.
I support big freak projects. Shame I don't know what this is based on but if it has TF2 Freaks I'll support it anyway.
Oh and I am wondering who the Erzengel/Nightmare Medic lookalike are, yeah these two at both upper sides of Crystal.
And since by the description I figure out that I can suggest Freaks, I'm goin' ta suggest Seeman, the poor guy isn't used by anyone lately, and he's my second favourite Freak (sad faic)

Bad news: it's not even in SFM. I'm literally sitting on my ass worrying about how the frick-fracks I'm going to make an effect similar to that in SFM, let alone animate this to justice in SFM with such limited knowledge. The boyfriend suggested post-CGI; I don't have the patience to learn that either even if it's stock so now I gotta think or find a model/particle that'll allow me to do something similar.
Good news: if you have an image editor such as GIMP or Photoshop and you're doing stop motion, just edit it some pictures using Screen effects and some brightness/contrast modification and smooth it out. Also, for the effect, I used a mix of a frost texture + Blue Quartz crystal! REALLY effective, just smooth out the level of details to something less grainy/realistic with a surface blur type filter and you're gud2go.
Soul Calibur's main protagonists/antagonists for the majority of its runs have been this long-haired blonde guy who owns Soul Calibur (the "good" sword) and a bad flamey source of evil dude who owns Soul Edge (the "bad" sword). Basically, the chosen wielder of the swords becomes transfigured to the powers that each sword has and is heavily influenced by each of the swords' spirits, even if they don't want to be. Eventually, they snap out of it with strong willpower, if they so choose. The lookalikes are the result of that. One of the results is obvious enough; the other might require a second glance depending on if I choose one Medic over the other. Risky move on my part either way.
I got my hands on Seeman and Seeldier's models and I've got them lined up already for an episode or two. Glad you like where this is going so far!

Good luck getting Seeman's iconic fist attack tho. We gmodders can work that with relative ease (was much easier before Gmod 13), but SFM doesn't come with an inflation option iirc.

Welp, another innacurate thing FF2 has, Seeldier doesn't have an inflated fist. And Seeman doesn't have giant head.

I'm still figuring out how I'm gonna get that sort of effect in SFM. Glad it turned out good, though, I was figuring out for awhile how to pull that off in Photoshop!
