great pose, good model for this type of shot.. I like how the hat hides her somewhat.. the lighting is hard, but it does work with this... there is a werid lighting thing on the wall abover her head though, tward the left, not very noticable, but it does seem odd to just streak up like that.... good shot.

I love it! Excellently done! I love the lighting, and the shadows...and the b&w. Her clothes are what strike me the most...her skirt and white 'girly' shirt...paired with work boots and a hat. Angrogenous in a way. Her pose is perfect. Very nicely done.

i like how the shadow from the hat's rim hide's her features. mad gangsta. the weird thing is, I can't match her gesture with any natural situation, it looks like she's seducing/intimidating someone. i hate when they do that!

The shadow produced by the hat is pretty impressive. I like how you cannot see her eyes. Makes me think that she is almost ashamed but yet I still manage to see some sexuality shine through. I'm probably misinterpreting but eh, great photo.

What kinds of lights are you using?? the light source seems pretty hard and direct.

im not sure what kind of lights they are. but its quite a small room, so the lights would have been very hard and direct like you mentioned, i might try moving them around, but unfortunetly im not blessed with a larger space to work.

ohh.. maybe you could try pointing the light in the opposite direction or bounce it off a wall or some kind of other surface.. so the light is more soft, unless of course you're intentionally going for the hard look ..

this picture imparticular i was. but i actually did that with my other photos, its more difficult b/c we dont have white walls in my home, so it gives a boring effect.
