Originally a USE product meant to make cotrolling slaves a trivial undertaking, the REPLACER has been banned from sale in the The World . The device was too effective, as such it did violate The Treaty governing tech proliferation and mind control devices. Only a few, trusted individuals possessing high-level slave licenses are allowed to keep and operate REPLACERs. Other devices have been repossessed by the RD slave authority.

This picture was inspired from the latest fetish exploration event , where and wanted to see me take on hypnosis. It was kind of a daunting task, since hypnosis as a subject covers many different subtle aspects and methods. Through my research, I've identified six main categories of hypnotic behavior, each of which is in the picture. There may be more, I don't know, do you?

I can see that hypnosis overlaps with BDSM as a concept and that the idea of someone struggling against their conditioning could be interesting. Still, I'm not that much of a fan of using it as narrative tool. I find that stories featuring hypnosis often turns it into some kind of magic instant-victory button for the user, without sufficient explanation as to why or how. I guess I'm old-fashioned in wanting to see success be earned though earnest work (or at least some technobabble inventions).
