Violet Parr! Normally, when film companies release unnecessary sequels (that is to say, sequels to films that ended perfectly and shouldn't require another film to follow up the story) years after the first movie, they are awful, and make the first film pointless. While Incredibles 2 does cover a lot of the same ground as the first, I actually enjoyed it more than the original (despite the original being 1 of my favourite films) and felt it let more characters than just Mr.Incredible shine, which is really the only flaw with the first film! The focus on Violet is definitely the best of that, hence choosing her to draw for this Daily December thing! (that and she's my favourite character alongside Frozone).Related content

It's a sequel that fans have been wanting for well over 10 years now and one that they actually asked for so it was definitely not an unnecessary sequel, (both Cars sequels were highly unnecessary (Cars 2 should have never been made period while Cars 3 was more or less an apology for the trainwreck that Cars 2 brought) as is Toy Story 4 to a degree (but not nearly as much now that the trailer is out which implies that it will be fixing up the big mystery with Bo Peep), Finding Dory was kind of somewhat wanted by fans (most of that was due to Ellen DeGeneres asking Disney/Pixar non-stop).
I prefer Pixar's method with sequels (wait a 5-10 year period between original and sequel or longer if needed) rather than rush a sequel out the door which is what most companies usually do these days, (looking at you Dreamworks and Illumination Studios.)
Nice art of Violet, she came out really good.

I should clarify what I meant by "unnecessary sequel". I thought that The Incredibles had a perfect ending and there was no need to add to the story. Of course, I am happy that they did, obviously, but before seeing it, if I never knew there was to be a sequel which they teased all those years ago, I wouldn't have minded if it never did. Does that make any more sense? I'm not sure I'm using the right words (a bad habit of mine) sorry for any confusion. Also thank you ^_^
