I was talking to while she was doing her homework. And she told me all about Ireland and its.. famine 8D;This was her rendition of what happened in 1845. I laughed so much i had to draw it xD;
(I clearly put no effort into the art 8D)

While I am not fully Irish, I do have Irish blood in my veins and while the Irish Potato Famine was a serious thing, I don't see the harm in this little joke. Mind you, I take pride in having Irish Ancestry (Maybe a little too much pride in my heritage as I often get into fights with others who blatantly make fun of my heritage to my face), I find this very funny.
I love the art as it is very comical and the idea behind the comic is hilarious.
I don't get why people think this is offensive. Sure, it's about a famine where a lot of people died but that's exactly it. It's making fun of the famine, NOT the people who died.
