I was talking to while she was doing her homework. And she told me all about Ireland and its.. famine 8D;This was her rendition of what happened in 1845. I laughed so much i had to draw it xD;
(I clearly put no effort into the art 8D)

I read the first part, and I mistakenly read it as "In 1845, a terrible flaming potato struck Ireland." As of that, I didn't get it until I re-read it.
Now I'm in the mood for potatoes...again.

Haha, this reminds me of a monolouge I once heard. It went something like this...
"We don't have any potatoes! Shoot! Now we're going to starve! 'Well, have some of this corn. Then you won't starve.' But no! We Irish don't want your bloody corn! We want good Irish potatoes! Potatoes! Now that's a food staple! Corn, please."
