Edit: If this doesnt help you then don't pin me down for it! I dont think im the best at drawing hands but this is tips meant for people who have a lot of trouble with hands and this is just showing them ways they can help improve! I really can NOT believe the bullshit I'm recieving for some of this! D| Just cause it doesnt help you it doesnt mean others aren't learning from this.I dont think i'll be making anything else like this now.
i'll deal with it though. THanks for all your 'thanks' guys -3-

A bit wordy XD But still I hope its helpful to those who struggle with hands. I myself struggle to draw hands most of the time too but these are just some basic tips to improving problems you may be having when it comes to hands.
I might do some more. If theres anything else you have a hard time with then I guess tell me >__O

That's a very good tutorial! unfortunately, i do the basics... but have a hard time figuring out the placement and length of the fingers.

Thank you so much for making this! I have so much trouble with hands. I've been borrowing drawing books from the library (Not the 'Learn to Draw 50 -blank-. Gawd I hate those) I'm sick of rechecking them though. I'm gonna stop being cheap, and buy one.

Another thing I found very useful for drawing hands is to plan out the "palm area" with a circle so you'll have an idea how bit the hand is. After that I roughly sketch the thumb and map out the rest of the fingers. Bah anyways...

Your WTF Wrist Example is actually a Chibi based type of style that I know a few people use with some of their drawings. They use it with ankles too. I think even Bleedman uses it in his stuff lol but it's a good little Tips and facts picture. XD nice job. And DN Angel was my hero with Hands XD Yukiru ROCKS at hands.

I hate to break your bubble, but the biggest complaint for artists that takes the number one spot of 'needs help with' is hands, with feet right after.

lol, There is no bubble, it was a joke. I suck at drawing hands, even if my top problem is probably proportions in faces, so I really liked this. I don't remember what I pretended to have trouble with in the last post and it won't show up on this page, so was it shoulders? I was thinking about elbows, or perhaps bellybuttons...

For the palm length, you may want to point out that the palm is about as long as the middle finger...(really, it is O_O)...and little things like that

Oh i love this! I have a bad time drawing hands. My uncle is a tatto artist and got me into drawing. He gives me a bunch of papers on how to draw hands, but its hard to follow. Im glad you made this its easy to understand!
