I dont think im the best at drawing hands but this is tips meant for people who have a lot of trouble with hands and this is just showing them ways they can help improve! I really can NOT believe the bullshit I'm recieving for some of this! D| Just cause it doesnt help you it doesnt mean others aren't learning from this.
I dont think i'll be making anything else like this now.
i'll deal with it though. THanks for all your 'thanks' guys -3-
/edit

A bit wordy XD But still I hope its helpful to those who struggle with hands. I myself struggle to draw hands most of the time too but these are just some basic tips to improving problems you may be having when it comes to hands.

I might do some more. If theres anything else you have a hard time with then I guess tell me >__O

Thanks!

There's nothing wrong in trying to help out others.

Their reactions vary from gratitude to repulsion but, that's their own which we can't change.

If they can make a better tutorial, by all means.

A good act is good when you are not influenced by the outcome of what you are acting upon.

Let me start by saying that for all the ppl that bitched at you because you didn't make the super, ultimate, best, teach you how to draw hands, garenn-DAMN-ted to make anyone and everyone better, master artist's amazing instantaneous guide can go fuck themselves up their asses with a giant gave. This was just a little help from a freindly artist who felt like being nice and giving a damn (BTW, Thank you very much, you help was greatly appreciated) who got shit in the face for it. I think it was a great help regaurdless of whether or not it will improve my own skill. If they are so ungrateful for help when they probably checked it out to improve their only skills, then they deserve to continue to sux ass at drawing hands! Seriously ppl, if you actually gave a damn that much about your own artwork, then take a fucking class at your middle/high school, or community college on drawing with an ephasis on hands or the human form and put your mind to it, rather then usings this guys tips for five second to no avail and then bitching at him for five minutes. If you had use those five minutes to do some fucking practice, you might have actually improved. Hello, skill with art takes time, if youdon't have patience to sit down and focus on it, then don't bitch about how bad it is. Some ppl in this world are fucking stupid, can't deal with reality, and don't deserve to be in it. I would like to appolgize to frzdragon for going on my long ass rant and for sharing some of MY views that might not be shared in his opinion, though I can surmize he may agree with me, again my opinon, not his. And, Oh dear, If I have offended any of you bitching ppl, take it up with me, not him!

i agree! those ungrateful little mongrels need to go find a copy/paste tutorial, and leave this excellent teaching tool alone

ioquacious [2007-05-03 08:24:53 +0000 UTC]

initially, i couldn't see why would anyone diss you for putting up a tutorial.
nobody should talk shit about people who are kind enough to make tutorials.
moreover, i thought that your tutorial was pretty neat!
of course, i've seen better hand drawings before, but the point was that you pointed out a lot of obvious-but-often-neglected mistakes
that can help improve one's hand drawing if rectified.
and the hands you drew weren't that bad either!
so kudos to you!

and well, just ignore those jerks....
i read a few of those stupid comments.
they aren't any better at drawing themselves.
besides, there are tonnnns more people thanking you than dissing you.
so don't give up on tutorials just yet!
keep up the spirit aye!

i agree with you full heartedly. this "tutorial" was an excellent example of a tool given to those who read it to help them create a unique, and personal style. there are too many "artists" out there that copy. and most of the tutorials you find say things like "make this shape, and then connect it to here" and its like connect the dots. i actually learned from this, and i think that anyone who struggles with drawing hands can too!

Thankee very muchly!

I have to spend so much time on hands to make them look real-ish.

I usually end up having those awful smudge marks in the paper that come with too much rubbing out and redrawing.

*sweatdrop*
