I've actually had this idea since 30 November 2007. Ironically I got the idea from a dream LOL. I woke up and was like 'holy crap that would make an awesome story'.
The guy with the dark grey hair is called Tiras and the girl is called Adelaide.

i have. its wierd. i dream about saying hi to a friend at the mall, then it happens whether it be days, weeks, months or years away from when i had the dream. the first time it happened it scared the patooty outta me. XD;
