Description
A color pencil sketch that was unfinished and destroyed. I made a scan of it and am using digital pencil and pastel to work it some more.Related content

something about color pencil makes me experiment with colors that way

I think I know what you mean. Maybe it's because colors stay more distinct in pencil than in paint mediums.

True - very much like pastel - a medium I love to see skilled people's work in, but have not patients for it myself.

Pastel's too smudgy. But with colored pencils it's hard to do large flat areas of color.
This is why I use a computer, so I don't have to compromise with the medium .
